I was introduced by a song called "Skinny Love" off of For Emma, Forever Ago through NPR 2008 Listener's Pick of the Year. I listened, my ears sparked up and was mesmirized by the raw voice that somehow reminded me of a bit of Ben Harper. Of course, with any musician, I googled Boni Ver images, to discover that the fella, Justin, looks an awful bit like my ex. The story goes from the name title meaning "good winter" that Justin wrote this album in three months in a cabin in remote Wisconsin after a trying time in his life.
